In IPL 2025, Khalil performed brilliantly and took 15 wickets in 14 matches for CSK. He played in five matches for CSK in IPL 2026, but due to a thigh injury in his right leg, he had to be out of the entire season. Australian fast bowler Ellis has also joined SRH for his current fee of Rs 2 crore. It is expected that Ellis, known for his variety of variations in bowling and his effectiveness in the death overs, will give his valuable T20 experience to the team.
