According to reports, the superhero spectacle will arrive on December 17, 2026—a day ahead of its domestic release.

By securing a Thursday release, the film will leverage a massive four-day opening weekend. The target for Avengers: Doomsday will be to surpass the box office benchmarks established by Spider-Man: Brand New Daywhich opened at ₹58 crore nett and went on to become India’s highest-grossing Hollywood film with a lifetime collection of Rs 483.50 crore nett (Rs 643.75 crore gross including 3D).

As the 39th entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Avengers: Doomsday forms a key part of MCU’s Phase Six. Helmed by Anthony and Joe Russo with a script by Michael Waldron and Stephen McFeely, the film will set up Avengers: Secret Warsscheduled for December 17, 2027.
