YOTEL Bangkok Sukhumvit will be the brand’s 24th hotel worldwide and fourth in Asia. It will also be the first YOTEL in Asia to join Select by Hilton, giving guests access to the Hilton Honors loyalty program, according to a company statement.

The hotel will feature self-service stations allowing guests to check in in under a minute, smart beds that switch to a sofa at the touch of a button, and guest-service robots that bring items to rooms.

A 300-meter skywalk will connect the hotel directly to the BTS network. A rooftop restaurant and bar on the 23rd floor is scheduled to open in a second phase in November.

It will be located in Cloud 11, a growing economic hub in Thailand which draws in travelers who combine work, leisure and digital connectivity.

CEO Phil Andreopoulos described Bangkok as a major tourism destination and a business hub that draws entrepreneurs and digital nomads from around the world.

“Cloud 11 is at the heart of Thailand’s growing creative economy and a new investment landmark for the entire country. This makes it the perfect location for the city’s first YOTEL,” he said.

Thailand was the second most visited country in Southeast Asia with 32.9 million tourists last year, after Malaysia (42.2 million).
