Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched a scathing attack on Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy. Following Revanth Reddy's recent comments regarding Lord Ram and Lord Shiva, BJP has said that those who worship Lord Shiva as opposed to Lord Ram are like Ravana. BJP has alleged that the Congress party is trying to divide Hindus. Telangana CM and senior Congress leader Revanth Reddy had on Monday claimed that the Congress is successful only in the south and not in the northern states as the BJP has usurped Lord Ram, who is worshiped in the north while Shiva is worshiped in the southern states.

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, while addressing the media organization's conference, had said, 'Shiva is the god of the poor, Ram is the god of the rich and BJP is the party of the rich. We are Dravidian. The people here (in North India) are Aryans. We are devotees of Lord Shiva and they are devotees of Lord Rama. BJP appropriated Ram. This is a subject to emotion and faith. Why doesn't Modi ji say 'Har Har Mahadev'? Have BJP people ever said 'Har Har Mahadev' from the stage? They just say 'Jai Shri Ram'. When we say 'Har Har Mahadev', they don't like it.

BJP angry at Revanth Reddy

Responding to CM Revanth Reddy's comments, BJP spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi alleged that the Congress, which was fully involved in every conspiracy to divide the Hindu society with full force, has now stooped to the level of dividing even the Hindu gods and goddesses. “I believe this is one of the most disgusting examples in Indian politics,” he said at the BJP headquarters in Delhi. It seems that while being in power with the Muslim League, the Islamic influence on the Congress has become so deep that the party has started looking at Hindu gods and goddesses through the prism of Islam and Christianity.

Sudhanshu Trivedi also criticized Revanth Reddy's comments and said that anyone who worships Lord Shiva while opposing Lord Rama is like Ravana. BJP Rajya Sabha MP Sudhanshu Trivedi said, 'Yes, this is completely true. This is written in Ramcharitmanas. Congress people will be angry with what I said. If a person claims devotion to Lord Shankar while opposing Ram, then he only reflects the tendencies of demons.' Sudhanshu Trivedi alleged that Congress is trying to divide the Hindu society on the basis of North and South.

'Rahul Gandhi and his party are atheists'

He further said, 'During the Jubilee Hills by-election, Reddy had said that Muslims are the strength of Congress and Congress is the strength of Muslims.' Sudhansh Trivedi alleged that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi did not take oath in the name of God in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. He said, 'Atheist Rahul Gandhi. Gandhi's party is 'atheist'. It seems that patriarchy becomes an issue only when it comes to Hindu society.
