Udaipur. Controversy has increased amid the ongoing 'Fix Tribal Schools' campaign regarding the condition of government schools in the tribal areas of Rajasthan. After inspection of schools in Kherwada area of ​​Udaipur, CJP national spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka claimed that after the team exposed the condition of dilapidated schools, some teachers are allegedly being intimidated and villagers are being pressurized to lodge an FIR. Following these claims, party founder Abhijit Deepke and spokesperson Saurav Das responded in support of Ranka through social media.

Tagging Education Minister Madan Dilawar, Ranka said that if FIR action is taken for exposing the condition of schools, then his name should be included first. He also talked about involving his team in the case and warned of starting a jail bharo movement across the state if arrested. These are Ranka's own claims and political response; Independent confirmation of these allegations has not yet emerged.

Abhijeet Deepke and Saurav Das expressed support

After Ranka's post, CJP founder Abhijit Deepke said that his name should also be added in the FIR. Party spokesperson Saurav Das also talked about including himself as a 'co-accused' in this case. Central to both responses was standing in support of the campaign to improve the conditions of government schools.

Actually, the CJP team had inspected government schools of many villages including Demat, Pongali and Babri of Nayagaon tehsil of Kherwada assembly constituency of Udaipur. The team claimed dilapidated walls, peeling plaster, broken hand pumps, unsanitary conditions and lack of basic facilities like toilets. At some places it was also said that vacant land was available in the name of school.

Question also on the use of budget of Rs 1500 crore

CJP also raised questions regarding the utilization of the budget of about Rs 1500 crore of Tribal Area Development Department i.e. TAD. The party claims that adequate benefits of development funds available in tribal areas are not reaching schools and children. The party has demanded construction of school buildings, improvement in drinking water and other basic facilities.

Earlier, a dispute and cross FIR between CJP leaders and villagers regarding inspection of a government school in Jaipur has also come to light. In that case, a case was registered against many people including Ashutosh Ranka under various sections including SC-ST Act, while a cross FIR was also registered on behalf of the villagers.

In the Udaipur case, the official response of the concerned administration or the education department on the allegations made by Ranka of threatening the teachers and pressurizing the villagers for FIR has not been revealed in this report. Therefore, for the time being, these allegations should be seen only as claims of the concerned party.
