The Income Tax Department (MP & CG) has issued a notification to recruit candidates for the post of Canteen Attendant. The application process for this vacancy began on August 11.

**Selection Process and Salary**
Candidates will initially be shortlisted based on their applications. Subsequently, they will undergo stages such as a written test, skill test, and document verification. A final list of candidates will be released after the completion of all stages. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of ₹18,000 (pay scale: ₹18,000–₹56,900).
**Educational Qualification and Age**
To be eligible for this recruitment, the candidate must be a resident of India and must have passed the 10th standard (Matriculation) from a recognized board. As of August 31, 2026, the candidate's age must be at least 18 years and not more than 25 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted age relaxation in accordance with the rules.

Community/Caste certificate, if applicable – EWS, OBC, SC, and ST (for EWS, a certificate issued by an officer of the rank of Tehsildar or higher is required).
Documents supporting claims for age relaxation as an ex-serviceman or Central Government employee, if applicable.
Certificate supporting PwBD status, if applicable.
Candidates must upload a passport-sized photograph displaying their full name and the date the photo was taken; this date must not be older than three months from the date of this notification. Ensure the face is fully visible within the photo and the candidate is looking straight ahead against a plain background. Candidates must not wear a cap, mask, glasses, or earphones/headphones in the photo.
Candidates are required to upload a scanned signature in JPEG/JPG format (PwD or PWBD candidates with blindness or low vision may provide a thumb impression instead of a signature).
