Mumbai. The league stage of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 has ended and Rajasthan Royals (AR) fast bowler Jofra Archer took three wickets against Mumbai Indians and took his team to the playoffs. With this, he also reached third place in the PPP cap table.

In this match, RR bowler Joffra Archer gave a big blow to Mumbai Indians by taking three wickets for only 17 runs in four overs. Archer dismissed Rohit Sharma and Naman Dheer in the powerplay and Hardik Pandya returned to the pavilion in the 16th over.

With this performance, Archer has secured the third position, leaving behind Anshul Kamboj of Chennai Super Kings, Rashid Khan of Gujarat Titans and Ishan Malinga of Sunrisers Hyderabad. At present, he is behind only Bhuvneshwar Kumar of Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kagiso Rabada. Both of them have 24 wickets in their name while Archer has 21 wickets in his name. KL Rahul was also in the field in the evening match. While Rahul ended his season on a high by performing well, Suryavanshi is still holding on to the hope of moving forward despite the failure. Suryavanshi was trapped by Deepak Chahar against Mumbai Indians and after scoring only four, his total number of runs has reached 583.

Till then he was at fourth position after Gujarat Titans’ Sai Sudarshan (638), Shubman Gill (616) and Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Heinrich Klaasen (606). But Rahul scored 60 runs in 30 balls in his last innings of the season. On the basis of this innings played against KKR, his total this season reached 593 runs and he went ahead of Suryavanshi. He ended the season in fourth place.
