On Tuesday, on World Health Day, the wind of awareness and community was the same in all the blocks, tehsils and health centers of the district. The role of District Legal Services Authority Sonbhadra Secretary was commendable.

Main Event Civil Judge CD/Secretary (Full Time) District Legal Services Authority, Sonbhadra Rahul organized a legal awareness camp on Tuesday, 7 April 2026 in the auditorium of Chief Medical Officer, Sonbhadra. Civil Judge C.D./Secretary (Full Time) District Legal Services Authority, Sonbhadra, Dr. P.K. Rai, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Premnath, Dr. G.S. Yadav, Additional Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Monica Singh Gynecologist, Dr. Saurabh Psychiatric Counselor and other officers and Asha Bahu, general public were present in the ceremony.

Secretary District Legal Services Authority, Sonbhadra said that the main objective of celebrating this day is to make people aware of their health. The theme for the year 2026 is Unite for Health, Stand with Science. Civil Judge C.D. Told that the World Health Organization was established on 7 April 1948. It reminds us that a healthy body is our greatest asset. Health not only means staying away from diseases, but also means being physically and mentally fit.

He further said that health security does not depend only on hospitals and medicines. It depends on credible science, strong institutions and collaboration across sectors and borders. The World Health Organization’s campaign argues that embracing science and collaboration can create a healthier, safer and more sustainable future for all. In this regard, the people present were also made aware of various schemes being run by NALSA.

The Chief Medical Officer and other medical experts made people aware about the importance of health and motivated them to adopt a healthy lifestyle. Apart from this, at various community health centers of the district, PLVs Manoj Pathak, Sarita Laha, Kamal Ahmed, Ranju Bharti, Pradeep Kumar Mishra and Ajay Kumar Mishra etc. made people aware about better health and various schemes run by NALSA. On this occasion, free medicines were also distributed at all community health centres.
