Rakhi Sawant has once again made headlines with her fiery personality — this time, for coming to the defence of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan amid his ongoing feud with Dabangg director Abhinav Kashyap. In her trademark unfiltered style, Rakhi didn’t mince words while taking aim at the filmmaker, calling him a liar and even threatening to pelt him with eggs if she ever meets him.

During a recent appearance on Hindi Rush’s YouTube podcast, Rakhi passionately spoke in Salman’s favour, praising him for his generosity and kindness. “Bhai dharti pe devta hai wo,” she declared. “He has done so much for me — when I was going through a tough time, he got me work in Bigg Boss and even helped with my mother’s cancer treatment. He is a real-life god for people like us who struggle in the industry.”

But her calm tone turned fiery as soon as the conversation shifted to Abhinav Kashyap, who has repeatedly taken digs at Salman in recent interviews. Without naming him directly, Rakhi called him “takla” and “kajura,” making her anger evident. “He said that there is a lot of talk against Salman these days. If you meet me too, I will kill you with slippers. Who is this? Dabangg The director of the film asked us, I didn’t know who she was. Meri jaban kharab nahi karongi us takle ka naam lekar,” she said, launching a blistering verbal attack.

Rakhi went on to accuse Abhinav of unprofessional behaviour on the sets of Dabanggclaiming he started “ladkibazi” — womanising — and was ultimately removed for wasting Salman’s time and money. She even alleged that “Salman ke dushman” — the actor’s rivals in the industry — might have paid Abhinav to spread negativity against him. “Abhi, there are a lot of bad things being said in the media, about my family… I am talking loudly,” she said, accusing him of lying about Salman and his family.

Her anger didn’t stop there. Rakhi, visibly fuming, said she would “maro him with 10 eggs” if she ever saw him, warning him not to cross limits. Yet amid all the rage, she had a calm word of advice for Salman: “Bhai, serious mat lo aise logon ko.”

This drama follows the long-standing feud between Salman Khan and Abhinav Kashyap, who directed the first Dabangg film in 2010. Since then, Abhinav has often alleged that Salman interfered with his creative decisions, took undue credit for the movie’s success, and used his influence to sideline him from future projects. Recently, Abhinav reignited the controversy in a podcast, accusing Salman of sabotaging his brother Anurag Kashyap’s career during the making of Your name.

In the interview, Abhinav went so far as to say, “Salman ki takdeer par likha hai, ab yeh humare hi talve chaatega,” implying that the superstar was now trying to win over the Kashyaps. He accused Salman of hypocrisy for praising Anurag after allegedly forcing him to quit Your name. “Now he will fall to his knees and beg,” Abhinav added, in a remark that many fans found unnecessarily provocative.

Salman, who usually maintains a calm silence on controversies, finally responded to the filmmaker’s barbs during a recent Bigg Boss 19 Weekend Ka Vaar episode. The actor didn’t mention Abhinav by name but delivered what many perceived as a dignified response. “The only thing that feels bad to me is that I destroyed myself,” he said. “If you have to fall in front of one’s family, then stand up and stand up for your family… stand up for your brother, love him, love your parents, take care of your wife and children. this is the least.”

The remark was widely interpreted as Salman’s attempt to remind Abhinav to focus on mending ties with his brother, Anurag Kashyap, with whom he has admitted to having no relationship.

Rakhi Sawant’s intervention, though dramatic, resonated with Salman’s fans, who have long accused Abhinav of exploiting controversies for attention.
