Centre for Brahmin Excellence to organise coaching camp in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The Centre for Brahmin Excellence (CBE) is launching a Civil Services Advocacy programme, under which day-long screening interviews will be conducted on Sunday from 9 am at the Sri Ramananda Tirtha Memorial Committee (SRTMC) premises in Begumpet.

The initiative aims to build civil service aspirations among Brahmin youth through structured mentoring, academic coaching, and interview preparation.

The Centre’s secretary Vanam Jwala Narasimha Rao said there was overwhelming response to the initiative with over 400 applications received from eligible and aspiring Brahmin candidates across the two Telugu States.

After screening, 54 candidates were shortlisted for personal interaction, advocacy, and support. Of these, 31 candidates — 21 from Telangana and 10 from Andhra Pradesh — have confirmed their participation in the screening interviews.

The interview panel will be led by former Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary L.V. Subrahmanyam, and will include both serving and retired senior civil servants, professionals from various fields including management, and young entrepreneurs.

Prior to the interviews, there will be a formal address by MLC Surabhi Vani Devi, who is also the Chairperson and General Secretary of SRTMC and a member of the CBE.
